The councillor representing Trofani Ward 9, Hon. Richard Cocodia Koritiemo, who also serves as Chairman of the South-South Councillors Forum, has purchased 50 JAMB forms for Trofani indigenes pursuing higher education.

The fast rising grass roots politician and philanthropist, demonstrated his commitment to education by distributing 50 free JAMB forms to indigent students in the ward.

The purchase of JAMB forms for indigent students is part of Hon Richard Cododia’s vision of elevating Trofani ward 9 to Bayelsa state’s most educated ward in years to come.

Addressing the beneficiaries, in a press statement, Hon. Richard Cododia Koritiemo reiterated the importance of education, stating, “The goal of the free JAMB form is to ensure our children receive an education. An educated mind is a liberated mind, which is why education is a cornerstone of my agenda as a councillor”.

Having registered them for the examination being conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, we have removed the financial constraints against sitting for the examination” he said.
