The driver of the couple murdered in their apartment at 1, Adefolu Drive, Allen Avenue Ikeja, Lagos, last week, has turned himself in, to the Police.
The driver was alleged to have connived with one of the house helps to murder the couple, who were preparing to travel abroad for Grandpa Femi’s routine medical check up, on March 19th 2023. They stole £5000 meant for the medical trip. The driver later went into hiding.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the driver was at the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department, Yaba. No word yet on his accomplice another domestic staff.
The break in the case came when they attacked the couple and the house girl WHO’S head was smashed with a wooden object and left for dead. She suffered mild brain damage and was found screaming “Driver, Driver “ when she woke up.
