A prominent civil rights advocacy group, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), has warned Nigerians that the plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate to pick a Muslim running mate despite stiff opposition from a cross-section of Nigerians was a sinister plot with the ultimate goal of handing over Nigeria in 2023 to remnants of Boko Haram terrorists and ISWAP elements in the current administration, just as how a Muslim-Muslim
Furthermore, HURIWA stated that there are very strong indications that the serial successes recorded by ISWAP, Boko Haram, and armed Fulani insurgents in various parts of Nigeria in carrying out bloody violence and mass killings of Nigerians, particularly Christians, coupled with so many jail breaks all across Nigeria, including the most recent in Kuje Prison Abuja, must have been facilitated by terrorists and Islamist sympathisers embedded within President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
HURIWA also stated that boko haram elements and Islamists have infiltrated many Northern State administrations, and that the zeal with which Kano and Kaduna State governors are pushing for a Muslim-Muslim ticket, despite the fact that such an unconstitutional practice has resulted in Kaduna State’s destruction, indicates that there is more to it than meets the eye.
According to HURIWA, the Kano State government operates like an Afghan state, with Islamic police and full shariah law, just as Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai is a notorious Islamic and Fulani ethnic bigot who has stated unequivocally that the ultimate goal of the jihad-minded politicians in the All Progressives Congress who have pathological hatred for non-Muslims and moderate Muslims is to conquer political institutions in Nigeria.
Remember that Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje recently stated that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) Presidential candidate, has agreed to nominate a Muslim Vice Presidential candidate.
HURIWA recalled that Ganduje stated during an Eid El Kabir gathering of about 100 clerics at the state Government House that Tinubu was advised to pick a Muslim running mate. “We advised him to appoint a Muslim deputy, and he agreed.” “There is a Muslim-Muslim ticket; this is not a new phenomenon in Nigeria.”
HURIWA recalled that Ganduje had also asked clerics to pray for Tinubu to become Nigeria’s president in 2023, just as the Rights group has tasked Nigerians to smell the coffee and wake up to oppose active plots by Islamic extremists to hijack Nigeria in 2023, even as the Rights group stated that the symbolism of when, where, and to whom Governor Ganduje informed about the Muslim-Muslim ticket demonstrates that it is a longstanding plot right from Saudi Arabia to try to abolish modern constitutional democracy in preference for a full Islamic State just like Afghanistan.
