I couldn’t walk for 3 years after an accident in 2007 – Daddy Showkey

TRACKING___Veteran musician, Daddy Showkey has narrated how a terrible accident he survived in 2007 prevented him from walking for 3 years.

In an Instagram live chat, the singer stated that he had the accident while on his way from a party hosted by singer Olu Maintain who was celebrating his birthday.

Daddy Showkey stated that he had to travel abroad for treatment after the accident and was advised by his doctor to quit singing and dancing for a while.

On returning to Nigeria, Daddy Showkey stated that all the people whom he use to give money in tune of millions started avoiding him. Whenever he tried to see them, they order their security guard to lock their gate and inform him that they are not available.

Around 2010, Daddy Showkey stated that when the situation became too tough for him, he decided to travel down to Warri in Delta State to take up menial jobs.

According to him, he worked as a laborer with bricklayers despite being the famous Daddy Showkey whom the whole Nigeria knows.

He concluded by revealing how he believed in God which made him rise back to fame and out of the condition the accident plunged him into.
