TRACKING>>The news of the boisterous eruption of the Bayelsa state Commissioner for Finance Mr. Maxwell Ebipadei on various social media platforms claiming political leadership of Agbere town and the surrounding communities in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa state, has come as comic relief to the Ag. MD/CEO of the NDDC Prof. Nelson Brambaifa in the face of the climaxing tense Political situation in the Country.
In a statement singed by the Special adviser to the Acting Managing Director on Media and Publicity Barr. Igbeta Ayebakuro said, Mr Maxwell has gathered a handful of hired praise singers to appeal him to his Political superiors with a claim of the Agberre Clan united for his Political party the PDP, the humble and astute Prof. Brambaifa would have ordinarily ignored this childish display of fear of an eminent defeat by Mr. Maxwell or his supposed followers (if the said publications where done without his knowledge), if these naked dancers had not dragged the reputable image and name of the Ag. MD into their ugly trend. Even so, Prof. Nelson Brambaifa refuse to join issues with children, telling newsmen who had called on him following Mr. Maxwell’s outburst of fear, that He as an elder statesman, father, grandfather, teacher and leader not just of Agbera town, but recognised as such across the Niger Delta, does not argue with children and that Mr. Maxwell Ebipadei is his personal son who was with him only a forthnight ago when he visited his home town to do his Civic duty on the eve of the now postponed elections, and at that time Mr. Maxwell has conducted himself as a responsible man with respect, but if for Political reasons and at the directive of his Political overlords, Mr. Maxwell goes to whatever media platforms to arrogate imaginary powers and influence on himself, Prof. Nelson Brambaifa refuse to follow suit in that display of shame, if any man has the people as claimed the results after the election would show, and it is not for anybody to go gather people and call himself names and titles, it is however unfortunate that Mr. Maxwell tried fruitlessly to dent the image of Ag. MD of the NDDC, these efforts are truly useless and unnecessary, the MD has continued to call on the people especially the youth to be resolved in their choices and shouldn’t allow sentiments to derail them from a very feasible future of development and plenty, and urged the youth of Tarakiri Clan and Agbere to be precise to be peaceful.
