The Osun state police command has recently arrested a murder suspect, Saheed Wasiu, popularly known as K-Federal, who has allegedly participated in the murder of some innocent people in Osun State.
TrackNews investigation revealed that the suspect is a member of the Rasheed Hammed, a.k.a. Oko-Ilu-led Eiye Confraternity. He was arrested around Alusekere area, Ede, by operatives from the Special Anti-Cultism unit.
Speaking about the arrest of the suspect, the Public Relations officer of the Osun state Police command, Yemisi Opalola, said that the suspect has been on the wanted list of the Police for murder and cult related activities. She said that the suspect was arrested on the 7th of May 2023, after the Police received intelligence report that the suspect was Alusekere area, Ede, Osun State.
The Police PRO said: “On 07/05/2023 at about 1400hrs, upon tip-off received that, one Saheed Wasiu ‘m’ popularly known as K-Federal, one of the deadly and notorious members of Rasheed Oko-Ilu led gangster was around Alusekere area, Ede, Osun State, Police detective from Special Anti-cultism unit swung into action and arrested the suspect.” The Police PRO said that some of the victims include one Wale, Jamiu, Ganiyu, Azeez and Eyimba and others.
The suspect was said to have confessed to the Police saying: “I have participated in the killing of almost twenty innocent citizens in Osun, I am a member of Eiye confraternity. I drop their corpses(victims) at Osun River, Sagba area, Ede.
