TRACKING_____This is a confession of a housemaid whose name is Idayat Olatunde, that killed her boss’s daughter identified as Patience Adelakun who’s just 13 years old, at Odi-Olowo area, Osogbo.
Mr Adelakun who is the father of the daughter disclosed that he received a call from his housemaid who told him the girl had collapsed and died, he had to rush down home from work. When he got home he realized it’s true his daughter is dead.
He added that it was after a test from the hospital that made them find out she was poisoned, which came from the food cooked by the housemaid that he employed from a woman whose name was not disclosed.
When asked why she did such a thing, Idayat confessed that, the way they placed the girl over her made her reacted in such a way, and that she is far below her age for her to be having authority over her. She said Patience was always controlling her and treating her badly.
The 17 years old housemaid said she added rat poison to her soup when her father had gone to work. She didn’t want them to know she died of poisoned so she told her parents she collapsed and died.
The mother of the child was not around as at the time this incident occurred, she was said to have traveled.
The case has been reported and it will be treated according to the law. Be careful of how you trust your housemaid, they can be desperate and unpredictable sometimes.
