I know why Casemiro left Real Madrid for Man Utd – Varane

Manchester United defender, Raphael Varane, has said Casemiro has left Real Madrid to join him at Old Trafford because he needs a fresh challenge, TrackNews reports

Varane has now backed his former team mate at the LaLiga club to be a success at Old Trafford.

Casemiro was presented to United fans before their 2-1 win over Liverpool on Monday.

Varane knows all about the Brazil midfielder after their time together at the Bernabeu and said he is the perfect addition to the squad.

They were part of the Madrid team that won the Champions League four times between 2014 and 2018, before Varane joined United last summer
