Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has revealed why he lost interest in watching American news channel CNN.

He said five years ago, the channel was like his bible for American politics, but for the past year, he hardly tuned to the station.

The ‘Nwata Miss’ crooner said he further lost interest in the station after it granted former US President Donald Trump an interview.

He said he would rather watch Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, than watching CNN.

Sharing photos of the CNN logo and Trump, Charly Boy tweeted,

“5yrs ago, CNN was like my Bible for American politics. But for the past one year I hardly tuned in.

“I was disgusted when recently they gave this lying, twice impeached, sexual batterer, ex president time on air without any push back.

“I’ll never watch CNN again, I rather watch NTA.”
