If You Don’t Want To Die Of Hunger, Go To The Farm – Buhari

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to farm what they eat in order to avoid starvation.
Nigerians, according to the president, have no reason to be hungry.

He said this during an interview with Tambarin Hausa TV.

The country’s leader explained that the decision to ban rice imports was made because of his position.

Despite the floods that had affected farming communities, he maintained that Nigeria could still feed itself.

Buhari claimed that his government’s decision to ban rice imports had resulted in rice farming.

“I took that decision to stop rice importation and said we should farm what we eat or die of hunger,” Buhari said.

“I said that if we have farmland and God has blessed us with rain, what reason does a Nigerian have to complain about hunger?”

“Go to the farm if you’re hungry.” I’m aware that floods have devastated some farmlands this season, but we’re still selling Nigerian rice and can feed ourselves.”

Peter Obi Makes a Promise to North Korea Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has made a promise to Northerners.

During a virtual meeting with support groups, the former Anambra State governor vowed to change the country’s northern region.

In response to a question from the convener of a Northern-based group, Obi emphasized that all Nigerians face the same challenges.

“There is no place in Nigeria where a Muslim or a Christian can get cheaper bread.” “Our economic problems, which are the result of poor leadership, do not discriminate based on religion or tribe,” he said.

The LP candidate argued that it is past time for the country’s leadership to abandon the methods that have repeatedly failed the economy.

He urged citizens not to vote for him or any other 2023 candidate based on ethnic or religious grounds. Obi stated that his antecedents and qualifications are open to scrutiny, despite the fact that he is the most qualified candidate in the presidential race.

“I am the only governor an eight-year term, left money, built infrastructure, and owed no contractor, salary, or pension,” he said.

In addition, he stated that he intends to focus on the North due to the region’s enormous potential that needs to be tapped and harnessed.

“I’m going to change the region,” he says. We need to cultivate arable land there; respected Nigerians from the North have ruled this country, but the region has ten of the poorest states.”

He pointed out that the region has the highest number of unemployed youths, out-of-school children, and the worst school kidnapping record in the world.
