•••Praises Dickson, says God is the ultimate

TRACKING_____The immediate past commissioner for sports development Bayelsa state who doubles as the president of Nigeria wrestling Federation Hon. Baraladei Daniel Igali has congratulated the duo of Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State and his deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor over the supreme court judgment today to reaffirm their mandate.

Hon. Igali issued the congratulatory message in Yenagoa, via a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to TrackNews

The sports ambassador particularly praised the immediate past Governor of the state, His Excellency, Henry Seriake Dickson for his role during and after the Bayelsa State governorship election.

He described Seriake Dickson as a colossus in the Niger Delta region and not just in Bayelsa State, stressing that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state would continue to hold him in high esteem.

Hon. Igali noted that he is proud to have worked under him as commissioner stressing that Bayelsans will always remember him for his transparency briefings, massive infrastructural development, revamping of the traditional institution, transformation of the educational system, security as well as various other shinning legacies that the restoration government headed by Dickson leaves behind.

The statement noted that the ultimate appreciation goes to the Lord Almighty in making it possible for the PDP to continue its stewardship in the state.

Describing God as the ultimate, the ex-commissioner said the judgment came at a time where almost all the PDP members in the state had lost hope.

Igali further appreciated the efforts played by committed PDP members in the state that did not waver even when the political tide had seemingly changed and hope appeared lost.

He expressed confidence on the duo of Governor Diri and his deputy, stressing that they are both seasoned administrators with proven track records that will no doubt transform Bayelsa State to an enviable height.

He charged Bayelsans to get ready to experience even more aggressive development strides in the state, adding that citizens of the state must give peace a chance and join forces with the Governor in building a stronger Bayelsa.

Igali notes that under governor Douye Diri as sports Commissioner, Bayelsa State attained the highest position – 4th – at the national sports festival, declaring that sports would see a resurgence under governor Diri.
