TRACKING_____The Secretary to the Imo State Government under the sacked administration of Emeka Ihedioha, Uche Onyeagucha, has said the Hope Uzodinma-led administration was incapable of moving the state forward.

Onyeagucha, said this in a statement in Owerri on Thursday.

He was reacting to claims made by one of Uzodinma’s Special Adviser on political matters, Batros Nwadike, on a local radio station, My Radio FM.

The governor’s aide had accused the ex-SSG of being a legal counsel for persons of dubious character among other things.

In response, Onyeagucha, said, “Ordinarily, I would have wanted to respond to Batros Nwadike’s incoherent trash, but may I inform the Supreme Court imposed governor that I am not and have never been a lawyer to kidnappers.

“I am aware that this is nothing but a diversionary gimmick by Hope Uzodimma who is incapable of moving the state forward.

“We shall continue to check on him. I challenge him to concentrate on provision of the dividends of democracy to Imolites rather than in this show of shame.”

However, the Chief Press Secretary, to the governor, Oguwike Nwachuku, urged the people of the state not to take the former SSG seriously.

Nwachuku said Uche Onyeagucha knew his comments on Uzodimma were borne out of mischief and hatred.

But the governor who responded through his Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, described Onyeagucha as a character that should not be taken seriously.

Nwachuku said, “Uche Onyeagucha has acquired the status of an unstable character going by the lousy and thoughtless statements that are often credited to him.

“He has long lost the temperament and composure required from those who claim to be leaders.”
