Uche Jumbo has an axe to grind with pirates who are constantly uploading Nollywood movie on online platforms illegally.

In an Instagram post she shared on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, the Nollywood actress and filmmaker said that the uploading of the movies illegally is a sin against God and man.

Uche emphasizes the fact that as a part of the movie industry, they are taxed heavily while these pirates reap from their labor.

She also recounted her experience while challenging people who had put up her movie, “Damage” illegally online.

She wrote, “Had an interesting chat with some people who uploaded my film “DAMAGE” illegally on their site, the sense of entitlement to that ‘you never make money reach feeling to call me an imposter on their little WhatsApp group…. got me thinking how we can all do better this 2019…’
