.….Says Action Is Condemnable As The Governor General Of Ijaw Nation

-Francis Tayor-

TRACKING > Niger-Delta Ijaw Pressure Group, known as Ijaw People’s Development lnitiative IPDI, has outrightly kicked against and condemned the action of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State open endorsement of Alaowei Broderick Bozimo as INC anointed Presidential candidate in the forthcoming Ijaw National Congress election.

The group, in a Press Statement made available to journalists in Warri yesterday, stated that, as the Governor General of Ijaw Nation, Dickson was expected to be neutral, play fatherly role and be a rally point to all candidates in the race.

Speaking at the development, the National President of the group, Comrade Austin Ozobo stressed that the open endorsement made by a supposed father of Ijaw politics in Warri on 24th June, 2019 was an indication that the outcome of the Saturday June 29th INC election has been predetermined.

The Activist lamented over the sharp division in Ijaw nation and warned that Ijaw political and traditional rulers should not allowed their personal interests to further destroy Ijaw nation.

Ozobo further said political and traditional rulers who join Seriake Dickson to endorse Broderick Bozimo for the detriment of other candidates in the INC Presidential race do not mean well for Ijaw nation, thereby should be held liable for further division of Ijaw nation.

He stressed that the group would continued to condemn wrong doings in Ijaw land, despite people are afraid to speak the truth due to personal interest, Comrade Ozobo asserted.
