Insecurity: Gumi meets Obasanjo in Ogun

Islamic Scholar, Sheik Ahmad Gumi, on Sunday met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the nation’s insecurity.

Gumi held a meeting with Obasanjo and other stakeholders at his Pent House, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The Islamic scholar has been negotiating with bandits in the North, suggesting that they be given amnesty.

Obasanjo’s media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, disclosed that details of the meeting will be revealed later.
