TRACKING___ TheInvestigate murder of our son, family of Unimaid student killed by BH cry out family of a 200 level Biology/Education student of the University of Maiduguri, Daciya Ropvil Dalep, who was abducted on January 9 by Boko Haram insurgents on his way to school from Jos and executed a few days ago, has appealed to the Federal Government to investigate the murder of their son.

Head of the family and uncle of the murdered student, Mr David Daciya at a press conference at the family house in Jos, Plateau State on Thursday, called on the Federal Government to investigate the gruesome murder of their son as shown in a video being circulated on social media.

He said what they saw on that video and the statement by the young man before the execution is condemnable and barbaric, and their prayer as a family is for God to touch the heart of President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate the gruesome murder.

“The video released which is credited to an eight-year-old minor who was assigned to execute Ropvil Dalep, on the ground that they are carrying out revenge on what the Plateau Christians have been doing to Muslims in the state. We appeal to the state and Federal Government to do something about the security of this country. When I watched the video clip it is quite touching.

“It is unbelievable that an eight-year-old boy, who carried out the killing, would come out in the video and tell the whole world that they want to revenge what was being done to them in Plateau State. The boy might have been instigated. And if nothing has been done about it, anybody going there might be killed,” he said.

Meanwhile the Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District and Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Defence, Senator Istifanus Gyang has expressed shock over the horrendous murder of Dapel by the Boko Haram.
