The Israeli military launched rare airstrikes into Lebanon early Friday morning.
This is just coming hours after it struck militants’ targets in the Gaza Strip.
The two attacks were in retaliation after Palestinian militants in Gaza fired rockets into southern Israel and rockets from Lebanon into Northern Israel.
The development has further escalated violence at Jerusalem holy site this week.
The Israeli military was yet to provide information about its intended targets in Lebanon. It however said it targeted tunnels and weapon sites in the Gaza Strip.
