TRACKING ____ Deputy Speaker of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) mobile parliament worldwide, Comr. Bob Collins Igetei, a staunch aspirant for the position of Secretary general in the forth coming IYC national election has knocked the Federal Government of Nigeria headed by President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately disband the Presidential Amnesty Interim Committee.
The IYC Secretary general aspirant, Igetei had noted that the whole idea of constituting an Interim Committee to head the Presidential Amnesty Interim Committee headed by someone not from the Niger Delta region is a slap on the faces of Ijaws.
This was made known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
While reeling out his programmes, Comr. Igetei, a vocal voice in the struggle for a better Niger Delta cum Ijaw nation vowed not to relax on this matter if given the chance to be elected as secretary general of IYC Worldwide in the fast approaching election.
Activist Bob noted that if elected as secretary of council worldwide, he will work in tandem with the national executive members of council to ensure that they mobilised Ijaw Youths to storm the presidency in protest to urgently disband the Presidential Amnesty Interim Committee headed by A.A Lawal against the interest of the Ijaw people.
Speaking further, Igetei had appealed to delegates of IYC ahead of the forth coming election to consider him for the position of Secretary general by voting him massively.
