THE national leadership of Ijaw youths Council (IYC) worldwide has joined other well meaning Niger Deltans to commend Gov. Henry Seriake Dickson on the directive for the immediate employment of all First Class Graduates in Bayelsa State.

IYC President Barr. Oweilaemi Pereotubo stated this in a press statement made available to Newsmen, said ‘‘ The Council also applaud the Executive Order of the Governor signed into law that mandates the compulsory and automatic employment of all First Class Graduates annually.

‘‘The above gesture will help to encourage our great youths to work harder to attain better and greater educational qualifications in order to obtain more benefits. The Governor’s magnanimity will also spur the current beneficiaries and future ones to strive to attain higher educational degrees and heights that will attract more honours, laurels and benefits to them and their loved ones.

As a Council, we think this is one of the most laudable magnanimity of a people and development oriented leadership and we urge other South South Governors to emulate this heroic and historic gesture.’’ He noted.
