Dozens of passengers were injured as two BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) buses collided head-on Tuesday morning in the bustling Dopemu area of Lagos.

The Tracknews Media reports that the accident unfolded on the exclusive BRT corridor, resulting in numerous injuries.

Emergency services rushed to the scene to provide medical aid and facilitate rescue operations.

It is not clear how the accident occurred as of the time of this report.

Tracknews Media gathered that the authorities are launching a comprehensive investigation to uncover the cause of this devastating incident and take immediate measures to prevent such collisions.

Accidents involving BRT buses in Nigeria’s commercial capital occur occasionally, mainly because motorists sometimes use the designated routes for the buses.
