A Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday, January 24, convicted two former Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials over Diezani Alison-Madueke’s deal.

Tracknews.ng previously reported that an arrest warrant has been issued for former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, by the International Police following a request by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation to the agency.

A source disclosed that the necessary charges had been filed and attached to the extradition request by the office of the attorney general of the federation.

The request will make it possible for all Interpol member countries to apprehend Diezani wherever she is seen on their territories.
