TRACKING___Ondo Deputy Governor to contest against Akeredolu, submits Guber Forms
The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi has decided to run against his former boss, Rotimi Akeredolu.
TRACKNEWS ONLINE can reliably report that Agboola will be contesting for the Governorship of Ondo State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. It will be recalled that Agboola defected to the PDP a week ago after his relationship with Akeredolu broke down irretrievably.
On Friday, He announced that he has submitted his Expression of interest and Gubernatorial forms to the party. He is set to contest for the party’s guber primaries scheduled to hold before the end of the year.
He wrote; “I submitted my PDP nomination and
expression of interest forms at the National Headquarters of the party, Wadata House, Abuja today Friday, 26th June 2020. We’re making tremendous progress!”
