Kano state Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Muhammad Diggol has tendered his resignation letter after he was redeployed to the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation

Though efforts made to get his reasons for dropping out of the Kano state Executive Council proved abortive, sources close to him confirmed that his latest decision was, “purely political.”

A source who spoke to our Correspondent on condition of anonymity maintained that Diggol who was recently fingered as part of the group frowning at Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s, “overbearing influence on Governor Yusuf’s government felt spited for being redeployed from the juicy Transportation Ministry to the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation.”

The source added that: ” I can also confirm to you that another major reason he left is to allow peace reign; and also protect his integrity and dignity as chances were ripe that he could have been sacked.”

However, Governor Yusuf has accepted the resignation of Diggol, the pioneer Managing Director of Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA).
