In its sustained war against thuggery and drug abuse, Kano State Police Command says its operatives have arrested 44 suspects for armed robbery, thuggery and drug trafficking in various operations conducted across Kano metropolis.
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Command’s Public Relations Officer disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday which indicated that the feat followed an aggressive clearance operation to restore peace in the state, led by CSP Bashir Musa Gwadabe, Officer in Charge of Anti-Daba Squad.
Kiyawa added that this is with a view to ridding Kano State of all forms of crimes and criminality, especially the menace of thuggery, drug abuse, as well as other social vices
