A member of the Lagos House of Assembly, Gholahan Yishawu, has denied being part of a plot against the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa.

The representative of Eti-Osa 02 constituency spoke with newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday..

The Chairman, Committee on Budget and Planning said he had no hand in the plan to stop Obasa from leading the House again.

Yishawu noted that the number of terms a person could serve as Speaker was not limited.

The lawmaker said he maintained a good relationship with Obasa and aligned with his agenda to move the Assembly and the State forward.

Yishawu advised All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Lagos to disregard rumours.

He added that it was deliberately instigated to cause confusion among party leaders and supporters
