Hon. Wale Mogaji, the Chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Commission (LAHASCOM) has been fired, the TrackNews learnt.

Our correspondent says his dismissal follows a voice vote given by the members of the House during the plenary session held yesterday.

Mrs. Folashade Raulat Latona was also appointed new Secretary of the Commission, to replace Mrs. Esther Lambo, who retired recently.

Confirming the dismissal, the House announced Mr. Olalekan Onafeko as the substantive Clerk of the House, while it promoted three other senior staffs to the position of Deputy Clerks.

TrackNews gathered that are: Taiwo Otun, Mrs. Adenike Oshinowo and Babs Animashahun.

Recall that our former report that Onafeko was earlier appointed Acting Clerk in 2020.
