Real Madrid is currently nursing the fear Vinicius Jr. could betray them.

The player is said to be unhappy with his contract offer that was put on the table a few months ago.

The Brazilian’s current contract at Santiago Bernabeu will end in the summer of 2024.

Los Blancos are looking to keep him beyond that period and have offered him an extension for three more seasons.

However, Vinicius is not pleased with the proposed contract offer that would last at the end of the 2026-27 season and the wages he is being offered.

According to El Nacional, The 22-year-old Brazil international believes he deserves to be one of the best-paid members at the club.

And the Club president Florentino Perez and manager Carlo Ancelotti fear that the World Cup star could betray La Liga champions if the situation goes on like this.

Vinicius has not scored or assisted for Real Madrid in their last six games across competitions
