Moses Simon was on target on his return to Nantes’ starting line-up as the Canaries fell to a 3-2 defeat at Lorient.

Simon scored the visitors’ second goal of the game five minutes from time after he was teed up by Cameroon forward Ignatius Ganago.

The winger missed Antoine Kombouare’s side’s last two league games as a result of injury.

The 27-year-old returned to action in Nantes’ UEFA Europa League 2-1 win against Greek club, Olympiacos on Thursday.

Simon has now scored three goals in five league appearances for his club this season.

Nantes will return to action in the UEFA Europa League against Qarabag on Thursday
