Clement Lenglet, the new Tottenham Hotspur signing, has revealed that Hugo Lloris was instrumental in his decision to join the London club.
Lenglet has joined Spurs on a season-long loan from Barcelona, with Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris playing a role in the deal.
They are teammates for France.
“When you speak to a player who plays in the Premier League, they say it is a beautiful league where you fight every week and it’s very hard to win,” Lenglet said on Spurs TV.

“I’m overjoyed to be here, in this city, and at this club. To make my decision, I consult with friends and family. And all of the words about the club were excellent.”
“Hugo is a Tottenham legend,” Lenglet said of Lloris’ role in bringing him to the club. I talked a lot with Hugo about the city and everything to make sure I’m okay with my family in London.”
