Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

A man from Plateau State’s Bokkos local government area died after boasting that he could drink nine bottles of locally brewed alcoholic drink “Ogogoro” without becoming intoxicated.

According to Hafsat Abubakar of the Conflict Mediation Mitigation Regional Council (CMMRC) Plateau Chapter, the unidentified man had requested 11 bottles of local gin from the seller and swore that he would finish it without incident.

According to Abubakar, the man was able to finish nine bottles but was unable to finish the remaining two.

The man quickly vanished, while the seller packed up her wares and took to her heels.

Before he died, the man was vomiting blood from his nose, ears, and mouth.

According to the source, a passing hunter was shocked to see the dead man and alerted the villagers, who took him to be buried.

The deceased was said to be married with five children.
