Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
A renowned philanthropist in Lagos, Dr, Oladipupo Okeyomi, has proclaimed the donation of 50 plots of land to poor Nigerians, who included widows and widowers, via his charity organisation, the Change Agent Foundation (CAFI).
The donation is disclosed at a reception he held for key members of T23, a campaign group working for the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, adding that the gesture is a symbolic representation of the fact that Tinubu is a friend of the masses.
Okeyomi, the National Coordinator of T23, said his charity group, the CAFI, had been drafted into the campaign race to let Tinubu win the election.
As he said, the plots of land which had been freely allocated to 50 persons are situated at Alabelapo in Itori, Ogun State.
“The beneficiaries were highly elated, when their names were announced by our amiable and philanthropist President, Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi Carry Go they all appreciate CAFI President and his loving wife, Mrs. Folukemi Okeyomi for making them landlords and landladies,” a statement by his personal assistant on media, Mr. Lateef Olawale told TrackNews Nigeria.
Also, Okeyomi called for national coordination for the emergence of the APC in the coming presidential election.
The T23 cum CAFI leader in a congratulatory message said, “Now, T23 is vindicated that it is not good to change a winning team”.
According to him, Nigeria at this time, needs leaders who are capable of focusing on set agenda without distractions, noting that Tinubu, having held on to the welfarist agenda of the progressives, will never let Nigerians down.
