TRACKING___Rapper Naira Marley has turned himself in following a demand for his arrest for flouting the lockdown order in Lagos State.
A viral video from the event showed that the guests number way more than the number of people allowed in a gathering by the order declared by the Lagos State Government.
This led to her arrest after a backlash on social media for putting lives at risk by encouraging the spread of COVID-19.
Funke AKindele was immediately arrested while her husband who wasn’t around at the time of the arrest turned himself in.
The couple have now been sentenced to community service after they were arraigned at a Magistrate Court in Ogba.
The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, has now revealed that Naira Marley has turned himself in and will be charged to court.
