NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PHASE 2, GEN. IBENA RUFUS SALVATION SAYS “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”

The National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Phase 2, Gen. Ibena Rufus Salvation, has issued a strong warning to those allegedly spreading misinformation and sponsoring frivolous petitions within Phase 2, especially against the Presidential Amnesty Office and its Administrator, Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuoro.

Gen. Ibena Rufus Salvation categorically condemned a recent publication credited to his predecessor, former Chairman Aso Tambo, describing it as misleading and capable of confusing the public.

According to the National Chairman:

“Let it be clearly understood: there is no ‘sword to drop’ in Phase 2 anywhere. Nobody should use such narratives to deceive or mislead our people.”

He further advised former Chairman Aso Tambo to personally call his direct supporters and subjects to order, urging them to drop their bad behavior and attitude of constant petition writing, stressing that:

“No man in any community can grow or make real progress by living as a petition writer.”

Gen. Ibena Rufus Salvation also accused Aso Tambo of “romancing the truth”, noting that instead of directly engaging his allies and friends to correct their conduct, he has chosen to generalize issues that have nothing to do with the entire Phase 2 group.

Using this medium, the National Chairman delivered a clear and final warning to all members of Presidential Amnesty Phase 2:

“From today, I am warning every member under Phase 2 to stop writing frivolous, unwarranted, baseless and illegal petitions built on false allegations without evidence. Anyone who continues in this act should be ready to face the full weight of the law.”
