Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is confident Leicester City can win the Carabao Cup this season.

The Foxes progressed into the fourth round of the competition following a 3-0 victory against Newport County on Tuesday night.

Brendan Rodgers’s side defeated Chelsea 1-0 to lift the Emirates FA Cup in May 2021.

Leicester City also claimed the Community Shield at the expense of Manchester City a few months later.

Ndidi believes the former Premier League champions can repeat a similar feat this time around.”

“Nothing is impossible. We’ve been there before in the FA Cup. It’s very possible because we have that quality in the team,” Ndidi said.
