Chairman of Brass Local Government Council, Hon. Victor Isaiah hailed the Bayelsa State government for awarding the contract to construct the Nembe-Brass Road Project on Wednesday.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his Special Assistant on media, Pekene Lukas appreciated Governor Douye Diri for keeping to his words concerning the road project.
According to the Brass council Boss, the awarding of the contract to commence the road project is a testament to the love the governor has for the people of Brass.
According to him, “You have written your name in the sand of time for awarding the first phase of the construction of the Nembe-Brass road to Setraco Nigeria Limited.
“This approval has shown where this road project lies in the scale of preference of the government. I am filled with joy at the moment.
“This gesture is highly commendable and it is a sign of the love you have for my people.
“On behalf of the good people of Brass Local Government Council, thank you very much our Miracle Governor.”
