Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has underlined the importance of mobilization for any candidate who is serious about running for the state’s electoral votes.
Wike made this announcement on Thursday at the flag-off of the 11th flyover project, which was carried out by Donald Duke, a former governor of Cross River State, at the Rumuola-Ikwerre Road-Rumuokwuta Roundabout in the State’s Obio Akpor Local Government Area.

Wike asserts that Rivers State is too strategically significant from a political aspect to be ignored because only his local government has more than 600,000 voters, making it capable of outperforming two states in terms of electoral strength.

“In just one Local Government in my birthplace of Obio Akpor, we registered at least 600,000 voters. This local government does better electorally than two states.

You cannot, then, take for granted our state, let alone the local government where I am from.

They must be familiar with us around here since we have what it takes to deliver. They have to come and meet us. There will be no one I can find. You must come see us. You cannot take away the 600,500 votes that my local government possesses. The governor said, “You can’t just take 3.2 million votes out of my state.”

Wike added that the time when supporters and voters gave their support without expecting anything in return had long since passed.

Why wouldn’t we play the role of Father Christmas once more if we already did? You must describe my options if I should cast a ballot. Therefore, no one should bother themselves. When the time is perfect, we will communicate with our people, and they will understand.

If you say we don’t exist, we’ll let you know that you do. My fathers are absent. I’m from the Rivers State. I’m attempting to introduce elements that will benefit Rivers State.
