Asanakpo mourns with Dr. Gloria over sister’s death

The Coordinator o f Bayelsa State Volunteers, Chief Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo, has commiserated with Her Excellency, Dr Mrs Gloria Diri, wife of Governor Douye Diri over the loss of her sister, Late Mrs Victoria Ali (Nee Toruemi) aged 63years.

Reacting to the demise of madam Victoria in a private interview, Asanakpo who expressed sadness said her exit has undoubtedly created an unreplaceable vacuum in the family and loved ones, adding that the family of Bayelsa first lady is going through a hard time as a result of the death.

He however, prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased while asking God to give her survivors the fortitude to bear the loss.

Also at the service of song at the Chief D.S.P Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Government House today, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, Justice Patience Zuofa Diri, Dr. Rachael Dickson, members of the national and state house of assembly, and other top government functionaries were also there to grace the occasion.
