Miss Aaron who is a chef and business administrator currently undergoing the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) program took over the reins from the 2017 Miss Nigeria beauty queen, the soft spoken Mildred Ehiguese.

One of the highlights of the pageant anchored by Ebuka Ochendu and a lady, was when American celeb, Blac Chyna and Instagram transgender celeb, Bobrisky came into the expo hall accompanied by security men and got the attention of the comedian, Bovi Ugbom while he was cracking ribs. Bovi called her name, Blac Chyna who was in Nigeria for the first time and was seen in Abuja. She stole part of the show with Bobrisky whose fame had risen since last year.

Guests at the beauty pageant include the former Miss Nigeria beauty queen, Helen Prest-Ajayi, senior staff and executives of the major sponsor, Heritage Bank and others.
