Court grants House Majority Leader Alhassan Doguwa bail
A Federal High Court presided over by Justice Muhammad Yunusa has granted bail to House of Representatives Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, who is accused of the alleged killing of some persons on election day.
Doguwa was detained by the police last week and subsequently arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ibrahim Mansur on six count charges including culpable homicide, causing grievous hurt, mischief by firearm and inciting disturbances.
He was remanded in prison till March 7 but was granted bail by the Federal High Court in Kano on Monday
