The Justice Development and Peace initiative (JDPI) and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ekiti State Council have called on Governor Biodun Oyebanji to focus the attention of his administration on road network, security, payment of gratuities and agriculture.

This is part of the recommendations of the organisations while presenting the result of the survey conducted on the last leg of the administration of Dr Kayode Feyemi.

Addressing journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Deputy Director of JDPI Sister Agatha Ogbuagu affirmed that the survey was a follow-up to the programme initiated by JDPI and NUJ in 2018 tagged “Manifesto to Agreement Divine.”

According to her, a total number of 1,164 persons were interviewed across the state using the random sampling technique.

She noted that the result of the survey showed that the immediate past government did well in the areas of public health, education and payment of salaries but much more still needed to be done in the areas of road, electricity, security, water supply, agriculture, payment of gratuities and job creation as recommended by respondents.

Ogbuagu also noted that the purpose of the survey was not to criticise any government but to draw the attention of government to areas of concern
