Gov Abba Kabir Condoles Kashim Shattima Over Mother In-law’s Death
Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Vice President Sen. Kashim Shattima over the death of his mother in-law, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir who passed away yesterday (Sunday)after a protracted illness at the age of 69.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Abba Kabir described late Hajiya Maryam Abubakar as an obedient housewife who did her best in the upbringing of her family members, which included blood children, and other non-related people, that she helped in moulding their characters.

According to the Governor, ” we were shocked on hearing about the death of Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir. The griefs over her death spread beyond her family, Kano State, but the entire nation
“Her death occured when she is needed the most. People like her are very rare. She was unique, friendly, respectful, family and community responsible leader whose death create a wide vacuum difficult to fill.” Mourn Governor Abba Kabir
The Governor on behalf of the government and good people of Kano State extends condolences to the Vice President , Kashim Shattima, his wife Hajiya Nana Shettima and the families of the deceased, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her soul eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi be her final abode.
