Gov Idris urge Nigerian youths to be of good conduct
Kebbi Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, on Thursday, counselled Nigerian youths on good conduct at the ceremony marking the end of the 10th National Council of Youth Organisation (NACOMYO) conference in Sokoto.
The event was held at the International Conference Hall Kasarwa Sokoto state with the theme “Rebuilding Our Society Based On Our Core Principles: lessons from the Life of Sokoto Jihad Leaders”.
In his goodwill message, Governor Idris applauded the organisers of the programs, describing the lectures as timely.
He reminded the Muslim Ummah to be united and focus on promoting unity in the society and Nigeria at large.
“I knew Sokoto gave birth to Kebbi and as such they are ready to support such programs as it had an impact on the success of the peoples in the society,” he added.
In his remark, the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Abubakar Sa’ad said that the reason for organising the programme is to promote unity in the state and ensure that children acquire Islamic knowledge.
Those in attendance are Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, APC party chairman, Alhaji Garlimallam, Hon. Hussani Kangiwa, Commissioner for information, Finance, Special Advisers, youth and sports, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affair, and others.
Other are special Advisers, former DCG of correctional services Umar Sarak and chairmen Local Government Services Commission Alhaji Mansir Sheahu, amongst others.
