Invictus Games: Meghan And Prince Harry Arrives Nigeria

Published

on

After boarding the British Airways overnight trip to Abuja on Friday, they arrived after a short delay caused by the scheduled pilot’s illness, which required hasty arrangements for a substitute.

As they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, just before five in the morning, a few Nigerian officials greeted them. They were then led through a side entrance onto the jetty and onto a waiting minibus that had been completely blacked out.

Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, a spokesman for the defense department, told the Daily Mail that “they will be tired after their journey, so they will rest and then the first engagement is at midday at the Defence Headquarters.”

“They will then go to a military hospital in Kaduna to visit injured soldiers before going back to Abuja for additional engagements.”
