JUST IN: The Nigerian Air Force bombs the ISWAP Commander and 18 other insurgents.

On Wednesday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) killed 20 insurgents and commanders of the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP), including Mallam Mu’azu.
According to Track News, Mallam Mu’azu is in charge of the terrorist-established market in Sambisa forest, Borno State.
During the aerial bombardment of the forest, numerous terrorists fled to the troop’s operational base in Bama, Borno state, to surrender, according to reports.
For more than a decade, Nigerian security forces have been fighting an armed rebellion. In addition, government forces are fighting heavily armed gangs in the northwest and separatist tensions in the southeast.
Nigeria received a boost in April when the United States approved a nearly $1 billion weapons sale. American lawmakers had previously blocked the agreement due to concerns about possible human rights violations by the Nigerian government.
ISWAP has largely taken over from Boko Haram since last year, when its leader, Abubakar Shekau, was killed in inter-faction clashes.
Shekau rose to international prominence after kidnapping nearly 300 Chibok schoolgirls in 2014.
