“As we move towards the 2019 general elections we urge government at all levels and security agencies to pay attention to traces of violent conflicts at local levels and involve soft power organisations like community, religious leaders, civil society organisations, and government agencies like the National Orientation Agency, Institute For Peace and Conflict Resolution, National Human Rights Commission in resolving conflicts,” he said.

He urged local communities to begin the process of conflict resolution through open discussion of issues in the spirit of give and take for a more sustainable peace.
