Maritime workers impede APM Terminal operations.

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, has halted APM Terminals management operations in order to complete the CBA negotiation.
According to Track News, disgruntled workers crippled APM Terminals on Wednesday for deliberately undermining the union’s efforts to secure a collective bargaining agreement for workers.
The workers also claimed that management treated them like slaves.
The MWUN President-General, who confirmed the news, stated that “the Union is open to quick resolution of the crisis whenever management is ready and willing to do so.”
MWUN had been at odds with APM Terminals over the CBA and had petitioned the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, to declare a three-day strike in order to force APMT management to conclude the CBA negotiations.
