National Security Council resolves Kogi govt, Dangote dispute on Obajana Cement

The National Security Council (NSC) has ordered the re-opening of the Obajana Cement Company in Kogi.
The company was shut following a dispute between the management, headed by Aliko Dangote, and Kogi government.
Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari directed the reopening.
The resolution, which seeks to ensure peace, followed an agreement reached between the warring parties.
Dingyadi said the government was committed to providing employment to its citizens rather than closing factories that will make people lose their jobs.
