Video Of Correctional Officer Kawana Jenkins Who Was Fired For Having Relations On Camera With Inmate
Fulton County Detention officer Kawana Jenkins has lost her job after she was busted on a video engaging in a lewd act with an inmate, and according to
Kawana Jenkins was fired from her job as a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office detention officer and arrested after a video clip of her engaging in lewd acts with an inmate leaked from a contraband cellphone.
The video shows Jenkins being filmed by an unidentified inmate as she sits in a chair. During the brief clip, Jenkins simulates an oral sex act by sucking on the man’s index finger before the clip concludes.
The 36-year-old has been charged with over a dozen offenses for improper sexual behavior with an inmate. Jenkins’ charges include two counts of improper sexual contact by an employee or agent, five counts of violation of oath by a public officer, two counts of reckless conduct, two counts of cruelty to inmates and one count of giving an inmate a prohibited item without authorization.
“As Sheriff of Fulton County, I am committed to transparency and to holding each and every employee accountable to oath they have taken to protect and serve our community,” said Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat. “The actions of this one individual are certainly not a reflection of the men and women of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. The vast majority of employees are to be commended for their integrity, commitment to service and the work they do day in and day out.”
Jenkins, who had been employed with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office since December 2019, appeared in court this week and has since been granted bond.
This is not surprising. This happens a lot when you have female guards who aren’t that pretty at an all-male jail. She was just dumb putting it on camera and that is why she is out of job and arrested.
