Nigerian workers suffering, intervene to avoid protests – Group tells FG
The Congress of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (CSCSN) has declared that majority of workers in the country are suffering.
The union made this disclosure on Friday.
The prices of goods and services have gone up in recent times.
CSCSN has however advised the federal government to intervene without wasting more time.
The union noted that the need to intervene is necessary so as to avoid a nationwide protests by labour unions across the country.
CSCSN convener, Comrade Andrew Emelieze made these disclosures via a statement made available to Track News in Nigerian workers suffering, intervene to avoid protests – Group tells FGFriday.
He added that intervention of the federal government has become necessary in view of the untold hardship Nigeria workers are presently subjected to.
Emelieze said, “We want to use this opportunity to also call on the federal government to as a matter of urgency intervene in the plight of the Nigerian workers in the face of crippling economy.
“Especially as it concerns civil servants who are suffering in silence.
“If this hostile situation continues, civil servants might be compelled to protest
