BREAKING; Ongoing Blockade in Zarama as Women in Yenagoa Protest Against Fulani Herdsmen’s Threats
In a bid to address the alarming destruction of crops and life-threatening situations posed by Fulani herdsmen, women in Zarama, Yenagoa, have initiated a peaceful protest, leading to a blockade on the east-west road.
The Zarama women are urgently calling on both the Federal and State Governments to intervene and provide assistance. Recent incidents involving Fulani herdsmen in the area have resulted in the loss of lives, especially among children, and extensive damage to farmlands.
